Commenters: Sijun did nothing wrong! He just agreed to date someone he wasn't attracted to, continued to fake a relationship with her, disappeared for days at a time and made himself impossible to contact instead of just breaking up with her when he, in his own words, knew he was hurting her, and then dumped her without even an attempt at an explanation. He's only human. He can't be expected to make good decisions when he's in such a difficult position.
Also commenters: How dare Jina not make only rational and clear-headed decisions after finding out her ex boyfriend faked their entire relationship and later when she's in the hospital after having her throat slit by a stalker?
Jina's not without fault, but Jun agreeing to go out with her knowing that he'd never like her is like the textbook definition of leading her on. He 100% could have prevented all of this. And he changed his number and disappeared for days at a time while they were still dating? Bashing her for what she's doing now while excusing the VERY CRUEL thing he did to her is kinda fucked.
thank u 4 this!! almost everyone in the comments seem to be putting all the blame on jina saying she should have known better and that she should just move on with her life, all while completely dismissing the fact that sijun treated her and her feelings like absolute garbage. somehow its so bad for jina to wish she had something more with sijun, yet its completely ok for sijun to have pulled jina along and to have half-assed their relationship at the time. thats just shitty
And people excusing Sijun like "he just wasn't thinking clearly..." HE FAKED A WHOLE ASS RELATIONSHIP WITH HER. You wanna talk about someone being in the wrong headspace, how about the one who just had her throat slashed by a stalker?
And so much victim blaming. "She should've seen the red flags. She should've left him." How are his mistakes also her fault? Like, just say you hate women and move on.
I like Jun, but I have a habit of ALWAYS rooting for the second male lead so we'll see how this goes.
It's not like I dislike Jun at all, it's just my heart gets more excited with the other lead. At least most of the time in other mangas. I think usually the one who wins at the end is the one introduced first but I heard this one has 80 chapter(probabky not) so maybe the second lead will have his time to shine!
Doyoon was selfish to push his feelings onto Taeju when he's already hurting, but he genuinely wants Taeju to be happy and is ultimately willing to put Taeju's happiness before his own desires.
Taeju was not a good friend while he was dating Sun, but he was being manipulated by a toxic person and was able to recognize that how he treated Doyoon was wrong once he saw his relationship for what it was.
They're all flawed characters, but their motivations make sense and they all grow throughout the story.
Except Sun, fuck that guy.
If someone wants to take this over, I can send the raws. They're cropped and stitched and ready to be translated.

WHY DID WE CHOOSE HIM OUT OF ALL THE OTHER ORPHANS?
