A lot of takes on this one from others and me
Author does not glorify her child Marriage and this trauma is a big part of her character and development with her family. Huge age gap and ML doesn’t try getting close bc of that. ML felt attracted to her when she was 16(?) it’s in the story and he’s blushing, ML struggles with those feelings. Couple had a good development and communication grew well, they were there for each other and got to understand them well. It’s well thought out!
