"What should I aim for from now on? What is my goal?"
"What should I do and learn to become a mage?"
WHAT IS MY GOAL???! This was literally my biggest fear regarding Isabelle's character. Does this girl have any ambition? Any goals before she met the MC? Any reason she wanted to desperately be strong? So far in the story not ONCE have they explained or even forshadowed what Isabelle's goal is. All we know is that she's a talented studious character who has an important relative.
Why is she acting like being Frey is the only conceivable way she can become strong? Is it because she's a fan of him? She had a life BEFORE she met Frey! Why were even you enrolled in the academy in first place if you didn't have the already answers to these questions in mind?
Maybe I'm jumping the gun here and misinterpreting what she means. I really REALLY hope she means that there was a specific reason why she must become strong fast and efficiently, and Frey is her best option. Hopefully she already has a personal goal that she hasn't revealed yet...... hopefully.

"It's a commoner food, don't over do it", Wtf do they think is gonna happen when they eat it?? Commoners drink water too, will the nobles stop drinking it because commoners do too? Woooow look at her, she's so brave for sacrificing herself to try the sweet potato

My thoughts exactly. We all breath and shit the same, what the hell is their problem? Like of course there are things commoners can’t afford to eat or drink. And maybe there are things commoners eat that isn’t as good just to sustain themselves and of course the wealthy don’t eat that then because they can afford better things. But come on they behave like it will turn them into frogs if consumed
Yeah having the ML say that their customs were "annoying" and having his attendant agree saying that they could be killed for "disrespect". Yikes, that was not it.
They came uninvited.... respect is good, but considering the time that this takes place in, it’s almost impossible to know everything about the other cultures, in order to provide them with quality hospitality. So it would have been weirder if they knew everything and were prepared beforehand.
