I’ve read the first couple chapters but decided to drop it for some reason and each time I read it again, since the art is so good, the storyline is a little messy and kinda sad/depressive. But that doesn’t change the fact I actually love this bl, so can anyone do a recap so I don’t have to go through the pain of seeing Ian suffer.

It doesnt show the scene seme smokes that much though
I genuinely cannot express how heartbroken I was when I saw Jin cry and feel how betrayed he felt to the point I almost believed he’d never forgive Matthew. That scene was so hard to watch especially because it also felt like Jin lost his long lost sense of purpose in life. It was a crucial element to involve towards the end but maybe not in this way. I would’ve preferred to see something else that didn’t involve drugging Jin. It just didn’t feel realistic because Matthew’s character would never do such a thing, he knows just how much Jin despises drugs and we as the audience understand even better just how much drugs have affected Jin’s life. It ruined some of the plot for me, it just didn’t feel authentic. Please I need to see more people talking about this
Edit: I forgot to mention that I read the raws and they do end up together and happy ( I think ) from what I’ve read so far and yes I do agree that while Matthew’s intentions were right, his actions were done in the wrong way. Sedative or drugs, it wasn’t consensual. Although, it was worth keeping him there for 3-4 days, since it helped the others buy off some time. Also, it was mentioned in the story through the “subordinates” that Jin doesn’t like any kind of narcotics and was refusing to take his meds. Hope this clear some things since like I said it was a crucial moment to evolve towards the ending and ps: Brandon can royally fuck off and rot in jail.
