Elle's real mother is basically the mother who birthed him, which is Reina.

Tbh i was real confused too i think he's referring to the woman who raised his as his "real mother" and reina as his "birth mother" and so he thought the woman who had raised him killed reina? But it's the duke that killed her i guess??? Idk

No he said that because of his father, he grew up believing that his "real mother" was the black haired lady; but in reality she was just the person that killed his mom (reina) And he resents his father for letting that happen

Idk I feel like Psyche is so much better as a character. She is naive and ignorant but not stupid. Once she becomes aware of the world around her, she starts making smarter decisions. It's a treat watching her grow

Helena is your typical naive heroine with some reasons explaining her actions but at the end she's still a typecast. Psyche has a lot of depth
