Based on my experience reading murim manga, i think it's only different in pronunciation. Like Tang family is pronounced in chinese, while if pronounced in korean style, it becomes Dang Family. I'm not chinese nor korean though, so I'm not so sure myself
Tbh when it first came I rated it full 5 but now I see problems with the story flow and logic… maybe its because it has became a common setting that I could pin point the plot holes… but it’s not interesting as it was at the starting. By now I’m just reading it to quench my curiosity
