i understand why it's necessary to tell us about his past, the white dragon just wanted to have a happy and quiet life with his dear lover and not a war and waiting long to see his dear lover and bla bla bla. i don't hate it but whatever, backstory shouldn't be that long.
at this point i just hope ian doesn't really turn into Brian later, he deserves to be loved as ian, himself. Not because of his past, his life is already hard, it's not fair man
my dear ian deserves better, he deserves to be loved for who he is now and NOT because of his past. white dragon, you don't deserve ian if you treat him like that.
