because when she was younger in her pastlife, if my memory is corrected, she was abused by her parents/caretakers. Later on she got found by a 'teacher' and that teacher took her in and treated her much more kinder. But of course that teacher has to die, I guess that just ruins her mental age.

yk just because shes physically old doesn't mean she mentally old (talking about how mentally old she was in her past life). Same goes for the other way around.

ohh i forgot that whole past life lol, I was genuinely curious why it was like that cuz I felt like at one point I think she mentioned she’s a prof chef and she got all these knowledge then all of a sudden she became that way... I think it’s because there has been so many plots going on in this story that my one braincell can’t keep up

Yupp.. She's just so focused on her carrier and future that she doesn't really have experiences in being love by another gender.. Looking at her thinking it's all neutral and she doesn't really care about romance and all made sense..

I thought the same thing about being physically old not being mentally old. Like some people, even if they're old, lacks experience and knowledge to be mentally mature. One of the factors is also their environment. And as you know both environments, past and present, weren't good for her.

But what I'm confused about is, she was abused in the past, but why does she still think with utter naïvety?

Not just romance, she's unfamiliar with familial love as well. But I guess her present family was kind of mentally abusive too, so that's a factor.

right and they made it seem like she was saving up all her energy and etc to finally be like “ha in your face duke whtvr, its time to die now” but then when it came, i had to reread everything just to fully internalise that THAT was the whole thing -.-||

FL is really good. Not arrogant at all! I think naive would suit her better it that’s because she only knows real battlefields and not palace politics.

Hmmm tough call. I mean, as far as plot goes, the latest chapter wasn’t a crazy cliffhanger but she is currently looking for someone who has a tragic backstory so you if you don’t mind the grief of waiting for that to wrap up, read it. If not, maybe give it 10 more chapters before you start?
