I read the light novel awhile back but for the most part he is alone. Hell difficult because of how much people died and difficult it was, was made illegal by the country and was advised people will pick other modes than it. However in the future there is one female who joined Hell difficult and he ends up giving her advice to get to his lvl which is blocked by co-op only mode. That’s as far as I got and then I lost track. From my understanding though, the female isn’t annoying. She upholds her part and is a genius. I haven’t read as far but from my point of what I remember they never met up but used the community to chat.

Kim roksoo. Once the world fell into hands of monsters number of people gained powers. The powers may be combat or just something really odd
And kim roksoo gained a power to record everything he sees well it wasn't a useful power at the moment but he was able use his powers effiecently under a good boss and caring group members but they were annihilated by an unranked monster after a few years of working together only he was able to live after that he became the leader and worked with his new subordinates he was called cold blooded because he never cried and mourned after his late collagues. Truthfully he felt very guilty. He couldn't befriend his new subordinates because they all had a family he was afraid something would happen to them. Soon he found some fantasy books wich was the novel he is in now. Later it's revealed it was not actually a novel it was a diary kept the first korean person who lived in the other world. Actually there are 3 realms one the original cales and other kim roksoo i don't remember the third one.

Well no. He's not a chosen one. Actually he was not supposed to be the one to come to this world. His late subordinate (choi jung soo) should've been the one come here like choi han. Kim roksoo originally was to die in that unranked monster incident. God of death proposed to take choi jung soo to the other realm when he was on brink of death but choi jung soo refused and asked for kim roksoo's survival. (The monsters appearing on earth came from cale's realm including the unranked monsters. (they are from hell) )
