Let me put it in EXTREMELY simple words for you.

The maid who used to work for the aunt daughter clearly isn’t a spy. And you obviously didn’t read the story since the maid went to work at the ml and fl resident because Cecilia recommended it. If the aunt (Sabrina) was the one who recommended her working there then yeah she could be a spy but it was Cecilia.

1. The daughter dislike her family (she stated that multiple times very clearly.)

2. Even if the maid did tell the daughter everything the daughter wouldn’t care/tell her family anything because she DONT LIKE THEM AND LIKE TO SEE THEM SUFFER.

3. If the maid was a spy it would be one of those typical situations when the maid was only doing it because they had their family hostage, family member sick and they need money for medicine, or the maid is just superficial. So the FL could buy out the maid and pay the maid more than what the aunt is paying her and have the maid make up lies to tell the aunt.

The story is interesting but somehow it feels dragging. I also want to keep reading it but felt bored in some parts as there seems to be no/little progress

Thank goodness i'm not the only one who felt this way. I wanted it to be amazing like how the story *is* but... its not :(

I honestly read it faster than the other manhwas because I just scan most of the parts instead if actually “reading” them

little progress because the story is pure by Maybelle's pov. she doesn't have a real target or pressing issue because her father and family just want to live peacefully. So we got stuck with Maybelle farming and learning magic...while the problem and explanation depends on the "guest" because Maybelle is not comfortable to ask questions, especially when it related to her mother.

Rykell is also partially to blame, because he needs a hard push to be more open to her daughter. and he threaten almost everyone who "talk to much" to Maybelle

Rykell do all the work from behind, and just want Maybelle to learn at her own pace while he slowly gathered enough power to start rebellion. the ruler of the west and east is not officially in his side yet.

Bellerophon will push his own agenda soon (the 2nd plot beside "how to free Rykell from the convenant", but dearest daddy will prevent him to talk and he resorted to bypass behind the teacher's back

the real game will begin when Trio Bel (Maybelle, Bellerophon, and Abel) compete in martial art competition, and the ruler of western territory came to visit Rykell, hoping for a way to remove his chain. Maybelle & Phon will snuck into the imperial palace to kidnap a child (nephew of the western duke. the kid also got abused very bad) while Rykell & Khan making ruckus.

Fight ensued and Maybelle will learn why and how her mother dead. Maybelle will realize that her tranquil days is an illusion and she stand on a thin ice because people still dying and imprisoned under the emperor's tyrany.

Rykell will start his rebellion once he get the duke's nephew. He also relocated his mansion near Khan and Abel's hometown. unfortunately, he lost the support of northern forest (he moved further to the wasteland and that area is almost barren of mana) it became a big trouble because Rykell now must work harder to save his dying disciple (Galatea's power in the forest is a great support for Rykell and he is able to seal the beast inside Phon alone when usually it needs at least 2 archmages to do the job)

better return to read +/- 2 months later skip Bellerophon vs Aslan & Maybelle vs Claudel showdown in the final of the tournament.

the real plot begin in the 2nd half of the season when Duke of West came to visit Rykell.

we're getting a lot closer to the divorce part :D and then everything will just get better and better from there

soo, yk how the emperor was like "the empress is infertile and can't give birth to an heir", he's wrong about that, and it's ironic bc he's the one who's infertile. And, you're at the point in the story where Rashta claims that she is pregnant with the Emperor's baby. buttt, now that you know the emperor is infertile, that means Rashta's baby isn't his, it's actually the viscount's son's baby...another one lmaooo. So yea. As you know, they do get divorced eventually and Navier remarries Prince Heinley. They live a great life together and have kids (from the novel art, they look cute asf). Sovieshit on the other hand, yeah he totally lost it and the empire basically falls apart :))

Also, Duke Ergy isn't really helping Rashta, he's more or less manipulating her to get back at the Emperor for something (i forgot what).
