I agree that it's not super smooth as far as story telling goes, but if you give it a bit a chance and use some reading comprehension, it's not impossible to understand.
I will say, not everything is clear but that will hopefully be cleared up in future chapters.
Spoilers:
It sounds like to me Kazami, somehow, purposefully had Ikuse tell Mr. Suzuhara about the plot of his story with the intent of "killing his career" (ch 4 pg 64-65). Ikuse is a big fan of Mr. Suzuhara's works and especially "Moonflower," Ikuse's favorite work, which is written by Mr. Suzuhara under the pen name Shizuku Nanami (ch 4 pg 55-57). So I think Kazami was likely jealous and so he tried to end Mr. Suzuhara's career. I don't know for sure, but it seems like Mr. Suzuhara and Kazami know each other or Mr. Suzuhara just knows the reason for Kazami's actions; I think this because Kazami sent Mr. Suzuhara the video he took of Ikuse in the material gathering trip in ch 3 and because it seemed like Mr. Suzuhara understood something Ikuse didn't about Kazami's intentions in ch 4 pg 64-66.
I don't understand the jump between the end of ch 2 and the beginning of ch 3 or what exactly happened in ch 2 where Ikuse told Mr. Suzuhara about Kazami's story.
This is all speculation. Idk how accurate it is or not until the next chapters come out. I took the page numbers from looking at the story without multi-page on. Do with this what you will.
Actually... I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought they'd be switching genders completely, but I like that they switch back and forth between dom and sub even though they are keeping their status as top and bottom respectively.
