Yea there was abuse. But I really liked this story for showing a progress on how relationships mature. When they were in high school they couldn't handle it well so it went kaput but in college they really grew and learned how to handle misunderstandings. I was aggravated too when Taichi forced himself on Nao. But the backstory and the progress of this story is good i think.. Hahaha also the situation homosexual people have to go through in society being shown is good.
