girliee, if a man like that goes to a place that's basically known for its prostitution and dehumanizing women, he's defo not your man
i feel like my heart getting squeezed whenever mc smiles
i like how he didn't blush straight away! I like a slow burn ride, please
ain't no way that brute is scheming against a literal 17 y.o. like stop, he's basically a kidd
nah, fuck soma. if he truly loves wataru, he won't fucking pursue and lead him on while still having lingering feelings for someone else. It's not a complex problem, it's just a tic tac toe. It'll only leave both of them butthurt at the end.
Wataru's got a choice, either have some self respect or get his ass led on.
The S-Classes That I Raised reference made me feel so old! I can't believe that such a fresh work from 2018 that only got popular in 2021 internationally is now being referenced hahaha
Ngl, Sion/Siennas has that unnatural political intellectual and potential to be a true king as he's destined to be. He was fumbling at first and relying on his subjects' words but now he can make critical decisions by himself about ruling his nation. It's pretty amazing, considering his upbringing and background.
Perhaps he has experienced the woes of the commoners himself but he genuinely cares for his subjects as as what a ruler should be.
My favorite part about this is the servants. I rlly love how they're having their own movements in the background as the story progresses. It's adorable how their eyes sparkles when Sion/Siennas treats them nicely.
Also, it's crazy how Parvell was playing a funeral music for Leo when he was 3 y.o. Shit was wild and Leo surprisingly grew up to be fine.
One thing that got me hooked is this stereotypical uke mc but I just love how he's so optimistic and adorable that it amazes me. His bunny teeth. I'm hoping he won't turn annoyingly pitiful and delusional to the point of no return
I'm bracing myself for another pitiful poor uke x toxic rich asshole seme story but I gotta say, I just like their dynamic and the scenes where seme keeps chasing uke lmao. Hopefully, (a wishful thought!) this manhwa will surprise me and it'll turn out to be a sweet romance between mc and a decent ml. I hope so.
An abrupt ending but I'm not complaining. I'll be eagerly waiting for th side stories. This was such a long, melancholic yet fun journey. I'm glad to witness its end.
for those who wants to know what to expect in the story without giving major spoilers so they'll know if they'll be wasting time on another shit story, here's an overview for you:
It's shounen-ai so there are no established roles in the relationship. I'll be using their names instead of uke and seme: yeonduk (blond guy) skyler (taller one)
Yeonduk:
Yeonduk may feel like your typical pushover softhearted guy at first impression, but he defo knows to stand up for himself when enough is enough. (Light spoiler: Yeonduk even punched Skyler bc of how much he hated him.) He's also snarky at times in a way that's comedic. I rlly like how he developed from a meek person to an admirable person we've seen him in the later chapters. You'll honestly root for him.
Skyler:
Jerk ass face right from the beginning. I instantly knew he'll be like those typical bully 'seme' and I prepared myself for the worst. Like me, you'll loathe him, choke him, and question why he's the ml. And it's all warranted. Chapter by chapter, I pieced all the puzzles together and found out why. He rlly changed so so much for the better that it's almost astounding.
Art:
Art isn't rlly bad but I had to admit, I giggled far too many times whenever i saw skyler's hairstyle in s1. I think the great storytelling overshadowed the art style and it'll rlly reminds you that this was truly from 2017. I had to say the style is nostalgic. In S2, the art improved so much. It reminded me 'A Form of Sympathy'
so many things to say, yet I can only write how this story rlly made me bawl my eyes out that i almost embarrassed myself to our visitors.
100/10 read. Srsly, read it, people. I fucking dare you. I rlly like how they tied everything up by the end, addressing the issue of Skyler's family, Yeonduk's bullies, Leo's situation, and all the other baggage. (except for Yeonduk's mom being ignorant to what is happening in child Skyler's family situation, the adults being fucking irresponsible, and the diagnosed adhd. *i like to think skyler was misdiagnosed since it wasn't shown much in his pubescent years but hey, that could be just bad writing and i hate how they kept saying he was sick)
I wasn't expecting much from this story, yet here I am, three hours later and I'm writing how great this is. Would defo recommend this to other people. AND THE SONG 'PLUTO PROJECTOR' SUITS THEM SO MUCH. I was tearing up by the "Old enough to understand~" Oh boy, oh boy. I'm so glad to read this lovely gem. Bls like this should deserve the spotlight.
what??? this mc keeps acting high and mighty about consent being the key yet he's manipulating uke to have sex w him, leaving him flustered and holding the "masturbating" incident against him. Just so he can play w him. I don't get how he thinks that's fair. ???
rlly interesting premise but it had gone downhill quickly
let him. let him, guys. let's see if he still feels that way when mc goes back to sunbae
i summon the raw providers to bless me the link to the raws
I'd be disappointed if all the boys were actually holding feelings for Dolores since the beginning when she has a personality of horse shit like that. It seems like there's a possibility of character development but at a snail's pace.
I do like how Dolores is shallow, dumb, and self-centered. She isn't that much of a threat since she only manage to gain the reputation of a troublemaker by making her noble lineage clean up any issues for her. She doesn't display any sort of manipulation, clever tricks, or special skills so far. This leads me to believe that she's more genuinely feared by the public bc of her family's power. Basically, an overrated sheep in wolf clothing / a stereotypical villainess.
But that is not a criticism to the story. The storytelling is what makes the story boring. I'll stick around.
Decent art, interesting concept, bad execution.
i love me a love triangle w a bottom and top pursuing the mc
I reread ch. 41 and then went back to 49. It all clicked!!! omfg. im pretty sure they'll end up happily together but I'm still kinda anxious if heejae is still gonna keep w his revenge plan
