this is such a lovely manga! although I do think the pacing could've been better bc it sometimes a bit jarring to see how the mc had gone from this shut in for 20 years to someone unapologetically herself now in just 2-3 months. granted that death could do wonders to rethinking of your life choices, but it wasn't shown in a way that felt genuine. i wish instead of introducing a new character every 3-5 chapters, i'd like the story more if it could take time focusing on the character's story and flesh them out rather than making them a background character the moment a new character is there.
still love it as a wholesome story though!

i really love how their roles are dynamic in a way that feels refreshing from the typical bl relationship dynamic. it keeps you guessing and im glad we're starting to get more couples that are stemming away from the classics!

Story is awesome except for the confusing part where you don't know if the author wants MC to end up with Emperor or Brother. (I mean they showed Emperor's sob story (still not an excuse!), the mystery of who killed his mother (so that there's a possible redemption!), making the fucking MC save his ass in the end)
I just don't understand how the writing regarding the rs between MC and Brother is soooo nicely developed but so shitty when it comes with the Emperor. It's like the yaoi gods are fighting so that MC can end up with the Emperor against all odds just for that fucking the-bad-boy-always-win trope
character design is immaculate, premise is interesting enough, and plot was going good until another moronic attempted rape trope got added and for what reason?? to create a psychotic ml?? 0/10 writing just for that
