I know it's a BL story but Mr.Seo's trauma hit too close to home and I just wanted to say that the author did a pretty good job to represent the feeling of helplessness that a child feel when they aren't loves by their parents because of some physical/comportamental similarities with their ex-wife/ex-husband. The way the father was just kind with him when he bringed on results, and at that moment he was seeing him as his son, but at the moment he did something bad all is blamed on the ex-partner, and you don't know how to change that. Mr. Seo's decision was the best: just to renounce at your parents affection, thinking that this affection is always fake, that it will not last.
