I don't understand why everyone is pushing for the wolf and the snake. Like, I just can't find the part where the wolf was so romantically head over heels or was so deeply in love with the snake anywhere. He's just so unresponsive to the snake's pheromones and sexual advances that there's just no spark there. What i see though, was him caring and loving the snake as a deeply concerned friend or family because the snake is easily fooled and preyed on by anyone.
Although I understand the sentiment, cause the story mostly focused on the snake and his relationship/bond with the wolf and then they'd just suddenly not end with each other and him being alone. But it's just weird and sad that I don't see the chemistry between them. I love the ending though despite the world-building lacking in many aspects.
It's a fun read overall, but it would've been better if the story focused more on the relationship between the wolf and the rabbit and the rabbit's life/history.
