i see people on here hsting hee seo for all the rape that hes done and i agree with it too. i still hope that the author will fix things up and the messy fucked up relationship that they have tho cuz they were really cute in season 1. everyone keeps mischarcterising them and focuses all on the bad parts of heeseo. he had trauma too and wanted someone to stay by his side and he finally found someone which is tae. but tae hid the fact that his stepmom was behind all the crimes just so heeseo wouldn't 'suffer' and get hurt finding out about the crimes just so heeseo wouldnt hate him too. think about the betrayal heeseo wouldve felt when finding out but still choosing to love tae because he took care of him and thought he loved him back. but then tae going and trying to leave heeseo just because the BITCH FUCKING MANIPULATIVE MUM who did the crimes (and tae knowing about them) was sick and needed tae 'by her side'. and despite knowing this, he still comes back 7 years later to tae and keep him by his side even if it means to confine him in an isolated home and grape him. tho not all thee sex they had were grape. if i remember correctly, at the start when tae first got kidnapped he was kinda up to some of it and wasnt exactly doing anything to get away. all the bad rape and stuff happened after tae finds out what was happening outside. dont ge me wrong i grape is still bad and shouldnt be done and im not exactly wanting to defend heeseo for it but he has trauma. he needs therapy. hes messed up in the head because of trauma and needs tae by his side. he's a red/black flag so obviously hes willing to do anything to keep tae by his side whether hes hurting him or not. people dont understand that a lot of bl manhwas ML have red/black flags. knowing this you still hate on them while knowing that thats the whole point of the story or relationship. its the POINT of it and yall still dont understand somehow.

but im not defending heeseo cuz i hate tae either. hes had his shit goin like being manipulated by his mother his whole life even tho wanting the best for heeseo but thinking it was all to waste cuz he had been keeping him by the leader of the crimes all along and trying to keep him safe. he only wanted the best for heeseo and thought it best to keep him away from his mother so he thought of separating them although heeseo didnt agree. he had to find out about his mothers crimes but not being able to do anything because of blackmail basically and his mother telling him that she was gonna die soon although that was a lie also. tae kept getting manipulated by everyone and is in the middle of all this mess. even getting accused of murder which i think the mother set up and heeseo knowing this tried to hide tae to protect him but also using it as an advantage to lock him up and force him by his side. thats just my theory but anyways, both heeseo and tae have their reason for not being that great. honestly they both are not amazing, not just heeseo or not just tae. but theyve both had their shit going on both are trying to do and achieve what they want for themselves just not in a very great way. but blame tae's mother. if she didnt exist and the whole plotline of the story changed where heeseos mother was still alive and tae was still in the village, all of them living happily then their relationship would be very different. its not great to accuse just one character and ignoring the other when both are equally messed up. the authors are doing this on purpose so i still hope they know how to turn it around and keep the story on track.

all this is just my thoughts so dont come hating. unless you have a valid reason to why you hatin on someone. but they wont work cuz i dont like ML and MC equally but i still like them. can you please just focus on the storyline if you dont like heeseo and tae so much. or just drop this manhwa instead of hating on the authors

I'm gonna be completely honest here, read the novel please. the manhwa leaves out so much important shit it's not even funny. I understand why since the novel has over 200 chapters and that's alot to adapt into a visual novel but still they rushed so many parts in the first season that in my opinion were crucial to the character development and overall story for example the first season is 45 chapters which is 110 chapters in the novel so yeah they left out alot of story not only that but the manhwa downplays the suffering the mc goes through in the first season compared to the novel, I will say this now though the novel is fckn brutal it's far more detailed so be warned.

OK, so I read some spoilersthat the main character‘s brother is kind of like obsessed with the main character and has like a weird obsession for him, etc. but I’m wondering, like is it in a incest type of obsession cause it kinda look like that and the latest chapter, but I don’t know. Or is it just in an obsession way, or is it he’s like infatuated with his brother and wants to complete control over him like an incest type way?
Cause I know his brother has an obsession over the main character, but I don’t know in what way?

also, I read the top kind of fell apart after the main character death. Is that true because in the first chapter it just looked like he was like kinda like blankly, staring at the main character when he was gonna die so I’m kind of confused on that as well. I think people get confused sometimes, but just know that TWO THINGS or more can be true at once.

ML is not in the wrong for being a sex worker. He is, however, wrong for keeping it from MC after agreeing to date.

• NOT HIS CHOICE to be a sex worker, so don’t blame HIM for being in THAT HORRIBLE SITUATION. He was basically groomed into sex work.

• HIS CHOICE to date MC, he committed an act of lying while in a relationship. This may make him a bad partner, but NOT a bad human being.

As for the sister, she can rot. I am not interested in her life whatsoever, sorry.

Im on chap. 70 and i dont find any of their s3x scene appealing. In-Seob going to America was the perfect opportunity to make Woo-Yeon chase him but no he just lock him up and blackmailed him.

wait i’ve read the novel for this!! basically the top has a lowkey inferiority complex about the fact that he can’t win first place in exam scores over the bottom. at some point he secretly takes a picture of the bottom to help “motivate” him to win lmfao. anyway one day he runs into the bottom near the bottom’s cram school and they accidentally swap phones. then the top discovers that the bottom has a secret burner account where he posts nsfw videos of his naked body and of him jerking off.

we get to see both povs for the novel, and in the bottoms pov it’s revealed that the reason the bottom has this burner account is because his parents are controlling as fuck. i want to say both of them are professors (i think his dad is a law professor) and they have extremely high standards for how the bottom conducts his academic and private life. they search his room regularly, and this burner account is a way for the bottom to relieve stress. the phone that the top now has is his second secret phone, and the bottom’s plan is to just deny deny deny.

if i recall correctly, the top doesn’t originally intent to try and blackmail the bottom but seeing the bottom pretend nothing is wrong pisses him off. so he threatens him, but our bottom is no pushover. he basically goes aight bet do it you can’t prove this is me. the bottom lowkey masks his real personality, so it throws the top off guard lol.

anyway the two confront each other, even have a basketball off, and become somewhat, vaguely like friends. however everything goes to shit when the bottom’s parents find the top’s phone in his room and lose their shit. the bottom doesn’t want anyone to know about how shitty his home life is, so he tries to strike a deal with the top about just buying him a new phone. the top thinks the bottom is just playing him so he says harsh things about the bottom being a slut. once again, the bottom goes aight bet and then he starts jacking off in front of the top (previously the top made fun of him like ‘if u jack off in front of me i wont tell anyone’) and the top is angry and horny and confused LOL.

their relationship kinda crumbles after that, but the top keeps thinking about the bottom jacking off and getting all bothered. in their own way, the two reach out to each other again and enter weird ‘u make me horny and we’re not really friends and we’re still rivals but ur interesting to me’ territory. they make a bet about whoever gets first place (top says you have to let me fuck u in the ass (or smth like that) and the bottom says u have to send me a video of u jacking off too) and the bottom wins lol.

at some point they enter friends with benefit territory (think lots of jerking off, there are like two scenes where the top flicks/hits the bottom’s cock, so if ur into humiliation/pain play, it’s very lightly here) - but the top starts to develop real feelings. the bottom does too, but he’s entirely too pessimistic to think that the top could really like him. unfortunately the top decides to confess to the bottom right before exams, which makes the bottom think the top is just doing this to throw him off his game, the bottom accepts it as a way to fuck him over too.

after exams are over they confront each other, the top gets pissed off, the bottom chases after him to apologize. they start dating fr, but once again things go to shit with the bottom and his parents. the bottom and the top make plans for the summer but the bottom’s parents unilaterally decide to ship him off to boarding school. fed up, the bottom actually fights back against his parents, his father hits him, and he ends up having to leave anyway. the top goes to break him out, and in the process, realizes the bottom has a terrible home life and feels horrible because all this time, he thought the bottom had been living the high life. (i stopped reading here but i assume the rest of the novel just details them getting into college and living happily ever after as adults lol)
