Sorry for your experience and i hope you are healing. I’m not going to debate about this topic with you as i feel you might have a rightful sensitivity to the issue. I’m not saying he is dumb because he is being groomed. I’m saying he is dumb AND he is being groomed. Not everyone who is groomed is dumb just the character is. Real life victims tend to be naive and easily tricked. Which has the same meaning with gullible but the word itself has negative connotations so it is okay for you to be sensitive about it. They might not pinpoint what is going on but deep down most of them know things are not supposed to be that way. Which is why they avoid direct confrontation about the issue from other people cause they fear their gut feelings might be right. I’m going to end this convo here as i feel it went on too long as it was meant to be a comment on a hobby site regarding my feelings about the story.
