I really hate when this happens they show a good character then show their bad side AND then show their trauma to make empathize with them like just pick something pls we still dont know if jiwon is a manipulative whore or no
Manipulative whore? Um? He’s not b can’t tell if you’re serious or not but either ways, yeah I agree, then again nobody is perfect and this isn’t fantasy genre so it’s understanding if Author wants to portray trauma. This is the effect it would most likely have in relationships.
Jiwoon definitely isn’t that manipulating I guess cause he did tell Suha he felt like this, feeling like he’s anxious and etc. Suha understood and promised to stay home until he felt comfortable.
Empathy is one of the greatest traits you can have, it’s not there for no reason. Jiwoon seems so strong and happy by Suha, genuinely loving him but behind that strength is also a weakness, Author is portraying his weakness which would be his trauma.
I think it’s good they showed his trauma because then the plot wouldn’t really go anywhere, the tampon head dude is the antagonist obviously and he is one of the few that triggered ML’s trauma. Some things have connections with his trauma and backstories is something important to know. Parents separation/disappearance can really affect a child.
