im not sure if the author intended the ex to be written in this, Uncanny valley, uncertain feeling to it where youre not sure if this guy is good or not bc if so then theyre doing a great job. Its almost like we’re retracing the memories of him in mc’s shoes to really consider: [was my lover abusive? Was i abused all this time?] bc unwinding 20 years of that shit is not easy i almost fell for the “yeah doesnt look like a bad guy..” then i remember the broken chair and im just Yep. @ daehyung love my big pawpaw but he is on the road to manifesting his insecurities by masking it as “wisdom” and as much as i understand where hes coming from, maybe its a bit unfair to yiyoung to receive the brunt of that insecurity especially with how resolute and convinced he is with that future happening. Im sure yiyoung Knows what hes getting into when he entered the relationship but to hear that Again but now with more soberness and resolution from daehyung? Surely that would suck to hear as a lover lol i’d be Stressed bc no matter how u frame it, the person receiving that will feel like shit about it

And as much as daehyung’s age insecurity requires reassurance from yiyoung, yiyoung’s insecurity on not being “matured” enough could also use some reassurance from him too :’) theyre communicating but on different frequencies

Idk what the author’s vision will be for the sequel but i hope we get to see more swooning and yearning (silly jealousy too) from daehyung’s part. AND some introspective growth for his character!!! Yiyoung’s growth has been great and sweet, always trying his best to match up to daehyung’s frequency TT The drama so far is great and i sure hope we get to see daehyung’s “i will let u go maturely :’)” shoots himself in the ass if they do get to the brink of breaking up bc atp big dawg is already preparing the seeds for it LMAO

get this a kdrama deal now omg its such a fun and engaging read?? I thought i wouldnt like it bc of the many couples but i surprisingly enjoyed it a lot?? The sons and their girlfriends are perfect for each other and theyre so lovable too!! Love how their personalities compliment each other while also simultaneously bring new perspectives in their lives.
