I’m not sure if this also applies to other countries but in mine, the parents (in-laws) are allowed to get married even if their children are married, but the children (in this case, step siblings) are not allowed to get married once the parents are married. I know my explanation sucks but here’s how it relates to the story. It’s legal if Dongwoo and soojin get married first before their parents do. It will be one big happy family. But if their parents get married first then dongwoo and soojin are not allowed to get married. In cases like these, they should just tell their parents that they’re dating and ask to get married first then proceed with the parent’s wedding
