Japan383 polic33 or polic33 in generally doesn't do much investigation if the person is convicted and suspected of crime with no evidence, usually they look around the ppl who knew him, past records and family, also to ask if the family wants to pursue further investigation. Coz investigating someone as bad as him will cost money and time, so they usually try to finish the investigation as fast they can. I know its against the right of free trial but the person is dead they can't do much especially if that person was will known to be a problem and has many enemies which means a lot of ppl to investigate. He died when it was raining then thrown into a body of water then the body will rot and evidence is washed away. They can also investigate it really well to find out if the killer is a bigger threat but polic33 ain't it... I read somewhere that Japan383 police are lazy... sadly ... I'm not an expert so please correct me
i think they already found the body tho? in an earlier chapter the girls neighbour showed her pictures that would fit her brothers description (man in his 20s) and she recognised the scars on his back from their dads abuse.... she just denied it at the time but yeah

An affair is very painful even tho she agreed its painful, I know ppl will try to justify his affair by saying she approved it and she's sexless and doesn't get turned on and the guy has needs. What abt his year of affair coz he has needs and fell in love with mistress (who uses him as a emotional cornerstone not a bad thing but im not sure if thats love or just need someone to lash out your emotion thru love making or seggs) but she had no affair and starting to find a way to pleasure herself. Like she clearly wanted it but fire isn't there anymore for the husband and she was the cause of it. I hope the husband doesn't get possessive and like you can't have an affair coz Ichiko wasmokay with the affair coz she can't meet his needs but what abt her needs? When she clearly wanted she can't have it coz the he doesn't want it anymore she know that's the after effect of the effect that she cause.
Okay the mistress with a d!ckh3ad husband is pitiful not sad but she hello scary coz I think if she didn't have an affair, she would've killed her husband. Her life is miserable, she clearly cares for her son and mother but the husband is so judgemental, old fashion and narrow-minded... that I would kill him myself I mean his mother is so annoying so what if the kid is late, not all kids who start talks first will be smart and successful..
I love how the author really shows us the prejudice for women who are in their 30s divorcee or no children, coz the uncle really thought (the sister of the husband) is having a hard time and sad coz she's divorcee and Ichiko not having kids is bad for her age I mean the other women is suffering and living a pitiful life, you can see a comparison in chapter11 in the last few panels. This is why it's important to be ready coz I felt like she was force to have a child coz of the idea of the women's body or women cannot handle having babies after 30s I mean look at her husband , he has zero fncks. He took care of his son once I hope thats a character development I hope he gets better coz being a dad is not only earning money and working hard for the family its also to be part of the family that you made when you didn't pull out.
