(don't judge spelling I'm dyslexic ahh) Luenti said it was a theory but basically the first sperado was silver/white haired therefore children with that colour hair have the true power of the darkness however because they kept killing the kids with brown and silver hair they started being born less and less in the family (brown hair has 1/4 of the power silver has) the mistake could be them realising their experiments were wrong or just killing the kids, it's probs going to be revealed or confirmed at some point

From what I read, could be mistaken, but the first two sperado generation were supposed to be silvered hair. Aka the founder of the Seprado family was silver haired, therefore the rightful heir to the position AND the darkness power was supposed to be the silver haired child up until the third gen (iirc). I assume something sinister happened during that gen where the blond/brown ursurped ? The position as the head of the family. Furthermore, it was hinted that since that generation, the history was changed, where in the first two silver hair gen history no longer existed, assuming the brown haired erased the original history of the family. Thereon, the family passed down a new tradition where silver haired become the sacrifice for the blond etc etc...
