Why is it in these stories where the fl and the ml do it in the beginning the fl always has to be responsible bc the ml was a virgin, i hate it. The ml sometimes even guilt trips the fl into going on a date or smth

The whole ass thing is that the daughter is the dad's "weakness" as in the king wouldn't mind hurting her to get the Duke to do what he wants, so the Duke has to act like he and his daughter aren't close for shit so the mc can be free of the danger that is the shit head emperor, that paired with the fact that the dad's a bit tsundere was just a breeding ground for misunderstandings.
