Honestly, I agree that even though she might be in denial or afraid of facing her sexuality or being open minded, she shouldn’t have brought the kid with her schemes and shouldn’t have spread his number without consent. I just want them to live peacefully man and also since it’s korea, it’s understandable how LGBTQ+ wouldn’t be a cepred so easily.
I’m pretty sure it’s a crime akin to harassment to do what she did. Obviously they are in the sticks so it’s possibly only a sheriff and him as the go to person in town but it’s still illegal to harass people using spam or signing them up without their permission. Depending on the details needed, it’s also identity theft and fraud. Even if she’s homophobic and bitter, it doesn’t give her any right to do illegal acts.
It is yes, but remember this is korea we're talking about, no matter how many illegal laws you make, unless you're rich or have money in your name, you can het away with it. I'm curious to see how it will go though because most manhuas/hwas I read even without consent is never brought up or isn't mentioned what the person did was wrong so I'm waiting to see what the author will do since I love the story so much
I thought it was the other way around? People get done for crimes all the time but if you’re rich or famous, you can pay off the police? Especially crimes of harassment. I think it might be a bit difficult because they are hesitant to convict women but this is a fine not jail time so they should do it without issue. The only reason so many crimes get brushed off is because the shame culture there is far too high so people feel shame at being a victim of a crime and don’t report it. In the west, everyone wants to be a victim so they report everything and nothing gets done because it’s a cry wolf situation but Korea, China and Japan actually have a decent police system since they rarely use it. At least that’s what I hear from people in those countries.
I mean yeah it does but I wouldn't say it:s decent, decent. If you get what I mean. I'm just waiting how the author will portray it out because if you actually pay attention in asian countries, consent is one hell of a problem in Korea. I don't remember much in Japan and China but I think it's the same. I would say unless they've grown up in the west but consent is a big problem in some asian countries especially when it comes to women or the internet.
I saw one of the comments say Seth tried to rape Isis and I'm wondering, didn't he say that he told Isis that they could run away together and stuff? but Isis refused and she said "bla bla no family bla bla no love", but he didn't really try to rape Isis? Correct me if I'm wrong but like he never really tried to rape Isis?
No, he was going to assault her but he couldn’t go through with it so then he tried to make her his queen so he can be the king but she refused him and he threw her in a labyrinth for decades until she finally escaped and had to go into hiding for more years.
Long story short he was intending to assault her but couldn’t do it in the end.
You might need to reread chapter 39. Seth never suggested they run away together. Only in the present, he suggested it to her that they should team up against Osiris. But the problem is that *in the past*, before managed to Isis run away, he failed to communicate that intention properly. In the past, according to Seth's own words, he captured Isis and asked her to sleep with him, she tearfully refused, and that's when he threatened her with raping her, so Isis tearfully told him "Neither you nor I will ever get what we desire", and that's how Seth first knew Isis had cursed both herself and him to not obtain what they wanted (he never heard the other part about his family). Though Seth considered raping her, in the end he wasn't able to make himself go through with it, but he at least let her believe that he would, in order to scare her. Then he threw her in the underground prison, and later on, she escaped.
Incest is a BIG NO NO forme, but that's in real life. If it happens in mangas and stuff, I GUESS I'm fine with it as long as I don't see it in real life and if it did, y'all better give me a GOOD VALID reason. Anyways, I'm so happy for them. I just found out about this manga a few days ago and I have no words to describe how I'm feeling now that its over. This author has been my favourite mainly because of the ABO one that the author made. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I wish all of them characters a happy life in the next and after that and after that lmao xD
