It's pretty obvious Min and Yuna are eventually going to end up together which makes me sad 'cuz I've once again been struck by second lead syndrome :') Hope this doesn't come back to bite me, but I really don't think Seyun is playing her? She just reads like a very chill person who likes to go with the flow to me. I don't think she's malicious or would deliberately play with Yuna's feelings even if she is 'playing' with her atm (if that makes sense lol). She's been honest from the get go; she finds Yuna's dramatics entertaining and she wants to stay for the ride. She may be dating her casually, but I genuinely do feel like she could fall for her.
Min is high-key irritating. Like, I get it: You're torn between both women but don't want to admit it because the person you thought was unattainable suddenly wants you again. I really don't care if this ends with Min and the prof being endgame, but there's nothing I hate more than wishy-washy bullshit. She needs to curb her jealousy if she doesn't plan on committing to Yuna. Alternatively, she should be upfront with the prof if she's no longer interested. Tl;dr: STOP WASTING EVERBODY'S TIME.
Wow, I read this think this was gonna be another 'getting revenge on my trash family' story (not that i'd complain, I'm actually a sucker for those u.u) but damn this is next level. I actually love how it took her *seven* lives for her to become competent--and those completely different life scenarios? Wow that got me hooked--some might call her 'stupid' for not getting it together by her second life, but you have to consider the fact that she was raised in an abusive household, with no formal education, and little to no socialization with other people outside her family network. Those things impaired her judgement. And to top it off, she wasn't granted plot armor like most main characters from other reincarnation works where they easily accept that they've been granted a second shot at life for revenge purposes--Hilise, from what we saw in her past lives, reacted realistically: she was afraid, confused and wasn't even sure if she was actually living in a *real* reality. Basically: it's natural she would slip up and stumble (at the cost of several lives). Anyway, this is super interesting! LOTS of unlikeable characters, but I love how Hilise deals with the trash :D

Yeah, but there's a huge difference between the Duke refusing to give her answers, and her being too afraid to seek those answers. She might not learn anything, but at least she knows that she tried instead of gave up. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Eh, I'm not feeling this harem(?). Her pseudo cousin is just nasty and I pray for whoever marries him in the future. And I'm sensing the crown prince is going to have that typical backstory you find in most revenge/reincarnation works these days where he actually cared for Elena the whole time but couldn't show it 'cuz reasons, and also ends up being endgame. (yawn).
I know it likely won't happen, but I'm rooting for Raphael. I like his relationship with Elena. He's the one guy she isn't scared of, she seems to care for him and, yeah she may be using him (but she's using everyone so it's moot point), but I feel like she can be genuine with him if the plot allows it. I can see them having a super cute and unique dynamic. The prince doesn't seem like a bad guy, but idk, the whole awesome, super interesting MC ends up with another boring, high spec male lead has just gotten pretty stale for me. I need FLAVOUR.

I don't know why ya'll keep updating on here. I'm not the kind of hard-ass that's anti-free scans, but when you could literally read this for FREE in way better quality, AND support the author with your views, why do this? Just google 'The Makeup Remover - webtoon' and go there, it's an easy find.
I feel so bad for dan. If she makes a scene they'll think she's trying to hide an ugly truth, if she doesn't take the bait then she'll be seen as a liar: It doesn't matter what she does, she just can't win. That's gotta be hella stressful. She could change schools, but even then that'll *still* say something about her, and knowing her luck some other parasite will harass her there. Sucks for her :/
