thats what I did first but I pretty sure you need to add them to your list

I think you need to click one of those 'already read' 'reading' 'want to read' thingies if you want to be notified but i dont know, i've been doing this since i started and it works for me
thats bc you have to add it into reading and already read to get updates
U need to subscribe to the manga (it automatically happens when u add to reading or already read list)
