ooohhh this plot is interesting, very different from the norm, I have high expectations for this manga, can't wait to see how it'll unfold
I have no idea why people hate Ken so much. The author is showing a not-so-beautiful side of being a gay. The self hatred, the denial, saying he won't become like his father or brother, keep repeating that he hates homos, the dating a lot of girls trying to change what you are. I myself am pretty fond of Ken. He feels real. He shows the torturous path that some LBGT have to take until they can fully accept what they are.
Totally agree. It's better than the usual : "I'm not gay, it's gross, but I'm gay only for you through 3 pannels at most."

I guess the hatred comes from people who never had to go through that. I can see Ken in myself, in a lot of my friends who had trouble accepting their sexuality. I guess it's hard for people who never experienced that to understand the amazing character that Ken is.
I think its mostly because of the way he treats Kirara.
I love the couple but sometimes I feel sorry for Kirara. Like at chapter 11 when Kirara's pushed down with his nipples showing, Ken kisses him and then says "you're not resisting, anyone will do as long as it feels good?", at 15 when Ken says Kirara's the one who wanted a kiss aaand at ch. 16 when nipples playing leads to dick playing (xD) and Ken says Kirara was the one asking for the pervy stuff. Does he think Kirara's a little fag?
I understand Ken is struggling with everything, but also the little guy doesnt deserve to be treated so badly. Kirara's dumb and bratty, but is a also good guy and too naive. Thats why sometimes people comment he deserves better.
For me, when I get angry at Ken I get back to ch. 11 when Ken protects Kirara from a pedo (its so heartwarming, my favorite part of the manga) and think "hes perfect for him" again xD
When I ask if Ken thinks Kiraras a little fag, the truth is I think that's not the cause.. Maybe it's his harsh way to alert him to not becoming one. Like, if its aniki he likes, dont go kissing and everything with other guys. And also is a good way to "tirar uma casquinha" without getting out the closet haha
that's why I said it's not a beautiful side :) I do get angry with Ken too. But I've made my mistakes while struggling against my sexuality too. But Ken feels way more real than most semes so far. Sometimes you love this person of the same gender, but you hate the fact that you love him/her, and end up treating the person badly because of it. It's still no excuse to do what Ken did. But if you notice, every single time he does something to Kirara, the author shows his grim face after. He knows he's being cruel and unfair to Kirara.
I really don't know, honestly. I have a feeling Ken know Kirara likes him, and can't stop wanting to touch him. Kirara himself didn't refuse any of Ken's kisses, if you re-read it. And lets Ken kiss him again and again. And Kirara himself asked Ken to lick his nipples. I have conflicted thoughts about that. It's like Ken pushes, Kirara stands on same spot, then Ken pushes again and Kirara gives him an encouragement.

You know there's shit wrong with the world when you read comments and people are ok with the guy kidnapping and raping a priest, but get out of their minds because of his dick as punishment.
These people must be desensitized already from reading too much yaoi (which some of them include rape). It doesn't help that MC here, just like MC's in other yaoi, didn't have grudge against his rapist!
