Ha I mean it's quite understandable why. But honestly after a while I grew to like her as I feel that she is really a good kid who wants to have a family and led to believe that they are her 'real' family. Cuz it's more of the fact that we are mostly seeing from athy side and also knowing the original novel plot where she so call 'took' her place. So originally we will see her as a threat and also I guessed her naiveness is also quite the factor too? But I mean like what can we really expect from a 14 year old who longs for her family her whole life and been locked up in the mansion without feeling really included as they(white boy and dad) are not her blood related family. So that's just my opinion ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Oh same here. I know it's difficult even now I only understood somewhat of the story. So what are you confused about? I'll try my best to explain it to you if you want. (￣∇￣)

Everything

First off let's start off with the plots
Mizuki found herself in a different world and one day she meets Dr. Gordon who took care of her. She doesn't understand how people use magic here (As in she doesn't understand the limits and rules, ects) so she created her own. Basically visualization magic which doesn't require her to chant. However, the people from that world call Mizuki's magic and others who transmigrated into that world is called "silent magic" and are given the title as mages.

After she rescued the twin Knights (who work for the king of the kingdom in the country she resides in). She basically scares the shit out of them and scolds them for being cowards and letting a civilian take care of their job. They head back to the village and this is where we meet the Masochistic knight. The reason why he's there is because he needs to take her to meet the crown prince. He's all knightly and shit and says he'll protect her on the journey to the crown prince. She doesn't want to go cause...She just wants to enjoy a peaceful mundane life. He can't really leave empty handed so he's gonna use his "knight cliche charm" but it won't work on her. She slams him into the ground or something which caused his Masochistic Aura to awaken.

Anyway he continuously harasses her which disturbs her peaceful life. She gets really tired of this. Dr. Gordon tells her the only way for this to stop is if she actually goes to see the crown prince to appeal to the prince (basically saying: Tell the prince get this weirdo away from me) also she's come to realize that she has to leave her peaceful life...There will still be people out to get her. So she forced to sadly say "Good bye peaceful life"

They arrive in the capital now. Gordon tells her that you need to prove your worth or otherwise he won't help you with your dilemma. She finally meets the first two impressions that she has is..."Wow, he's literally what you think the stereotypical prince appearance is" and "Holy shit, what's with this terrifying immense pressure?". M Knight tells him to stop emitting out his mana pressure. The prince laughs because he finds it adorable to see her cowaring. She realized he was intentionally emitting out his mana pressure to scare her which is why Mizuki later on constantly calls him "Demon Prince". The prince agrees to help Mizuki however, in exchange she needs to help him with something. The task he gives her will test her. (Whether or not she meets the expectations). The task is help the neighboring country king ) I'm gonna to explain this a little further. The goal that Demon prince has for her is basically to understand other countries and potentially use her as political means that's only if she completes this task well.

As she gets ready for the task. This is when she meets Klaus who's the Raven Knight that specializes in tech development and he was the person who put on enchantments for the jewelry and clothes. Mizuki admiring his looks reacts in disappointment when she finds out that he's a weirdo that has a hobby in stalking people. A few days later (ten days) when she meets up with Rudolph who's the King of Sevrest. He tells her that he wants her to pretend to be his concubine in order for her to destroy the harem from the inside. The reason why is because there are snakes everywhere.
She agrees and now onward to this part of the story

Several things that happen while she was the "concubine"
1) The concubines invite in for tea and not caring her schedule as well. They accuse Mizuki of not being a noble. They threaten her to leave and that if she didn't they would kill her. Mizuki smirks and uses her intimidation spell. She sets them straight and basically bring the concubine that invited Mizuki to ruin and the others who also participated in harassing Mizuki.
2) She uses a magical device that she put on a frog that she saved/nursed back to health to use the frog as a why to spread rumors that the inner palace has ghosts. It causes a lot of concubines to run back home. (But that spreads rumors that Mizuki is a witch)
A) While she was having a conversation with the knight. A drugged out concubine appears with a knife and tried to attack her. She sees it and dodges and used her fan as a weapon to order to get the knife away from the crazed lady and the knight does that "hand chop at pressure point" which cause the lady to collapse. Ah, you may be wondering why didn't the knight intervene when she was being attacked? Well the answer to that is he was trying to get a sense of where Mizuki's ability is. I guess testing her.
B) Four more attacks happen. And it's pretty obvious who is the mastermind to this (page five chapter four second panel with big boobs). So they set out on a plan to ruin the lady with big boobs. Later on we a see a big boob follower walk into big boobs room. The Follower says that she's scared of following asleep because of the ghost. The big boob lady makes her some tea and the follower is asking for the sugar cubes (Those are the drugs that caused delusions and hysteria). The big boobed lady coats follower into killing Mizuki. The frog watches what big boob lady is saying to drugged follower.
i) The time has come. Mizuki has come to confront the big boobed lady. The big boob lady feign ignorance. And the followers back up BB lady. Mizuki is like "I ain't having none of your fake bullshit". Then the drug follower (from before) shouts at Mizuki and then starts spewing out all of the things that happened to previous consorts. As the tension is building up bb lady smirks as she knows what's to happen. Drug follower tries to throw the acid at Mizuki to ruin her face but the knight pulls a spin dance move on Mizuki which caused her to avoid the acid attack. They hold DF down and now...Mizuki exposes bb lady. She plays out the recording device of what BB lady said the night before and the followers are mad at Mizuki saying "How dare you spread this hoax?!" (Yeah they ain't smart)
ii) More evidence appears showing the pot full of sugar cube looking drugs that are found in BB lady room. However! BB lady still hasn't cracked saying "How can you prove that's mine? That could be someone from one of the merchants that work in the inner palace" However, BB lady fucked up cause Mizuki called her out saying "You sure know a whole lot about this not being your standard sugar pot" ( If you're confused...The person who found the pot nor Mizuki didn't mention anything about sugar cubes being drugs. So basically BB lady exposed herself without knowing) This is drug is basically like cocaine or opioids. After they exposed her she loses it and was about to swallow a highly concentrated poison but Mizuki her stops from killing herself because bb lady needs to pay for her crimes. BB lady tries to dodge the blame and says "The followers did it. I just gave them a push" Mizuki puts bb lady in her place saying that...The king won't love you cause you used others for you evil deeds...You got nobody who would even show up at your funeral" The bb lady has a mental breakdown cause she's a nobody.
C) She gets imprisoned (kidnapped) plot twist coming soon. I'm just gonna summarize this part cause...I am running out of time for today. But to sum this all up...She gets kidnapped by a Count. He seems to be related to someone (But I am very awful and I mean awful with names. Fun unnecessary fact about me...It took me a whole quarter for me to only remember 40 percent of the people in my college classes). But the main thing is...He seems to know that she has lot of magical enchanted items on her especially about the bracelet (Please keep this in mind). The count demanded the guard to open up the cell so he can attempt to you know...But Mizuki being the badass mofo...Basically is like: "Hoho I see you that you wish death" The guard teams up with Mizuki...Meanwhile back in Rudolph headquarters. He and the knight and his advisor talk about Mizuki's kidnapping...The plan is set in motion basically you could say they were expecting this to happen. Rudolph sends the knight to go "rescue Mizuki" (They know full well she can manage herself). Now back to Mizuki...She and the guard team up together and escape along with bringing the Count with them. After just effortlessly attacking...They reach the exit and there they meet up with the Knight who's all covered in blood....At first Mizuki is cautious cause they didn't know it was the knight...There's dialogue they found out that the knight is the infamously legendary Crimson Hero. And the knight asked if Mizuki was afraid of him..Her response? She said she didn't care and threw him in to the water fountain and used wind magic to dry him up.
i) Alright so here's the plot twist. You see, there are three people that work for Rudolph. His advisor, the knight, and the maid. Mizuki was always suspicious of all of three of them. Now, earlier I mentioned the bracelet. The reason why is because....Well, the maid. Here's the reason why...
1) In the beginning, when Mizuki was called forth by those thots. She cut into the conversation between Mizuki and the concubine (You're not suppose to do that as maid) The reason why you shouldn't do that is because just a tiny mistake could have completely ruin the plan
2) Mizuki was very suspicious of the three of them so she wanted to test with the sugar cube cocaine investigation. She told them to keep it a secret from the king. But of course both the knight and the advisor had to tell King because...You can't hide something this serious from the King. So they both proved that they were loyal to the king.
3) Finally, the bracelet. There's only few that about know about her enchantments on the jewels and clothes. True, that the few knew about fan, hair accessories, and earrings being enchanted but not the bracelet because she had it on the entire time so how could the count had known if the bracelet was enchanted? Because the maid was fixed on it. The king and Mizuki had matching bracelets which her jealously get the best out of her.
i) the maid is actually the twin sister of the REAL MAID. The real maid was kidnapped before Mizuki had the chance to ever meet her. The maid pretended to be her twin sister.
ii) So the fake maid gets punished for multiple things. So the Mizuki does the coldest thing you can do a yandere which is tell them that "They ain't ever gonna get love from the one they love" And she kissed the King's cheek

Old geezer?....Uhhh... You're gonna have to be a little more specific. Cause there's a lot of lot old dudes in this. Are you talking about the recent chapter?
Or are you talking about the count? Cause...Tbh, I have no clue who the hell he is. I reread it I still have no idea who he is. I guess he's a random side character that was necessary for the plot.

Recent one. She called him the final boss

Ahhh...That old guy name is Marquis LackBerg this man is the king's most trusted ally. Demon Prince wants him crushed.
He basically helped out Lord Hippocrates (he's that big guy that has a spoiled brat as a daughter that likes to put down Viscount for petty reasons) for the behind the scenes.

The old guy ultimately wanted to get rid of the Demon prince's card which is Mizuki but who knows...She got a trump card apparently so she might win.

he's not op yet, it's like a journey so he will be soon, there's no harem, he's a skeleton but he does have female masters who he cares for (a lot of them die) but there isn't any romantic feelings for any of them
