um... this is clearly romanticization of rape. the rapist himself did not have to deal with any consequences due to his actions. sure, he felt bad, but that is nothing to appreciate. any sane human would feel bad for raping somebody, and any good person would not do it in the first place. just bc touma felt bad about it does not mean that the issue is all fixed. its one thing to say that it is surprising that Touma felt bad considering that in most yaois, the rapist does not feel remorse / it is not addressed at all. It is something different, though, to say that this story is not romanticizing it. whether or not this romanticization is seen as a problem is up to the readers, but it is CLEAR that this is romanticizing rape.
Honestly, if the rape wasn't there the story would have so so sooooo perfect.
