It's a nice sweet ending, MD is even better with his hair down, and Chanwoo at least recognizes his own role in all this, but those two are a pair of supremely f****d up puppies and I simply can't see things going smoothly for them in future.

And what was that 'I wanted to see how you'd react' BS from MD? Manipulate much? Geez!

RLYnow June 1, 2020 9:41 pm

So let's unpack where MD's head is at.

I personally think the most telling thing MD said in this whole chapter is when he asks Chanwoo 'Don't you want anything from me?'

I felt like there was a lot deeper meaning to that question than just within the context of the 'play' going on in the room. It's basically the question that MD has wanted Chanwoo to answer for him all along. MD wants to give Whatever he can to Chanwoo, and Chanwoo up til now has been all 'Nah, I'm good, dude. Don't need a thing from you.'

It's not just rejection, it's repeated rejection.

Yeah it felt as if MD asked him that question to see if he (finally?) requests something from MD, unlike previous times.
People complaining here about MD probably haven't considered that domestic violence victims are very hard to convince by just logic, that what they are doing (staying in that toxic relationship or keep on dating abusive douchebags) isn't healthy at all.
Those people are often times very delusional, just to be able to bear with the domestic violence (kind of being in denial). So by doing that, driving Chanwoo into a corner by that act, MD tried to break Chanwoo's delusions.

Maybe? It remains to be seen

The thing that's really bothering me is why it took Chanwoo so frickin long to get his sh*t together and say the safeword...and the author shouldn't have shown him getting hard. There's nothing about that situation that would have turned Chanwoo on especially while he was so upset, so WTH.

I hope we get a proper explanation for Chanwoo's choices, whether it's by showing his past or what, because at the moment it's incomprehensible to me.

Also, glad that MD kicked Seung-Hyun out.

Honestly I was a little disturbed as well when he got turned on but that probably a body reaction. Your brain and body can have a totally different reaction to the situation that's why. I'm sure Chanwhoo didn't mean to get turned on during the situation. Also yes. I would also like a reason to why Chanwhoo has acted like that thus far.

The body reacts even if the mind doesn’t actually enjoy it. Not everyone is the same and honestly it seemed like MD could tell Chanwoo was uncomfortable yet he kept going.

Hmm, Idk. I've yet to meet a person who is able to get aroused while in severe emotional distress and particular since the author goes out of their way to show that Chanwoo is repulsed by Seung-Hyun, it seems like a special kind of yaoi logic for his body to still react, but who knows.

Another thing I'd like to mention is the kiss...MD wasn't expecting it, as far as I could tell. That was Seung-Hyun taking matters into his own hands, as it were...which makes it doubly cruel for Chanwoo to witness IMO, and also I was expecting MD to go off on Seung-Hyun for acting outside the bounds of their 'play'...when that didn't happen, maybe that's what gave Chanwoo the shock that made him pull the plug.

Still, though...that he'd take any kind of abuse but couldn't handle seeing MD kiss another guy.... Chanwoo is one messed-up boy.

I wouldn't question it too much.

again I don't think Chan was that bother by the blowjob and kissing that guy he so-called "don't like", if he really didn't like it and wanted to stop he had used the safe word sooner. instead, he uses it only when he got super jealous over someone else kissing his MD, so it kind of clear that he like him and didn't mind what they did that much. he only got annoyed and didn't like it when his MD was kissing that guy.

Well it's not good to apply normal logic to yaoi in the first place, but even when I try to see how this all makes sense in terms of the author trying to tell the story of MD and Chanwoo, I'm still confused.

And f*CK, why on Earth is Chanwoo apologising after all that? Like what on earth is going through his head?

Also, I don't think this means their relationship, whatever it is, is out of the woods yet. Those are two very emotionally screwed-up puppies right there.

MD had better not pull the whole 'as your Master I had to do it' BS on Chanwoo right now, 'cause Chanwoo would fall for it rn and that would be even sadder.

I'm hoping for MD to admit that it was a fail on his part too.

Chanwhoo went into a breakdown and got into the "I'm sorry" habit that people with emotional issues have sometimes. I agree. I hope MD doesn't pull that bs and that he admits fault into having Chanwhoo go through that.
