is it just me or does the prince care for no one but Heronia in the original story, like in the reincarnation story it's because of Tia that his relationship with the other characters is good or even exists, but in the otome version it's as if everyone else is a wind up key to make Heronia dance
I hope I'm making sense, it's just that even if Heronia says that she is the only person to make Cecil have emotions it doesn't look like it's on a wider scale (also sorta looks like the bird had a thing to do with how he's feeling but that's outside of the otome story line)
Most probably. Not really sure if I remember correctly but, in tia's memory she didn't know that heroine she played as in the game had a bird that charmed people to coercion...
It's really sad indeed. But if I think back most otome games heroine don't interact with other people other than 1-2 girls and several men. Maybe the author wanted to envision that aspect that is not often said of how otome heroine not often is around normal plain people or having a connection with wider group of friends of the same sex...
If you have ever played an otome game, sometimes you can see that some "cold characters" are like that. They love you and only you. And that's what's their selling point, if you get what I mean.
He cares for no one but me.
Or
He would abandon all for me.
Or
He will love no one but me.
Or all of the above together.
But Tia opened up his world at an early age. Mostly with her caring side, causing him to somehow and somewhat not be so uncaring towards the others.
And Pii-chan (the bird) has charm magic even in the otome game. Thus, like in the "real life", it acts as some sort of drug. It is not that Cecil, or any other, loves her.
They are just being charmed. Without the bird with light magic, the love disappears, for the girl would lose the appeal she once had. Unless if, by all means, they fall for her true charms.
For, let us be honest. No matter what, Cecil is still Cecil. If he saw a girl talking with a bird, he would either immediately assume she is on drugs or a magic user of the sort.
The only other way that I can imagine is by being charmed to the point where he becomes blind, which is what is happening.
If you have nothing to do, I do recommend to play some otome games that are available for free at play store. Even if it's not your taste, just so that you know what it's like.
I would love to recommend you one, but the ones I have played once have been put down, unfortunately.
He did.
But he can still try and "convince" the prince he loves her. For, like you said, she will be completely helpless.
And yep, pulling something from underneath her skirt was kinda funny, actually. But doesn't happen in the game, for it doesn't need to. If I saw someone pulling something underneath their skirts, no matter what sex you are, I'm calling the cops ( ̄∇ ̄")
And that this chapter was painfully gritty to read, it was.
clearly everything is their dad's fault
first off lets point out that they were clearly not a happy family from the start, Mogumo was struggling from a young age trying to figure themselves out, and that was clearly made difficult with their dad's mindset
Sakura didn't realise how hard it was for Mogumo because of the fact she saw nothing wrong with fact that they had to keep their feminine interest a secret, she thought things were fine because she didn't look at the bigger picture
now we have a mom who's struggling because she feels powerless to help her children (or that she failed to raise Mogumo "right"), and a dad who only thinks it's his way or the highway, both parents clearly failing hard at parenting because their children are being negatively affected by their behaviour
I don't think I explained myself really well so TLDR dad should change his mindset unless he's planning to lose his entire family

not gonna lie, the author, saint or whatever is... kinda barf
like, if you can't catch a man with your current very pretty might I add body, then wtf you doing ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
