I don't know if it's just me but it feels like the manga doesn't capture scenes well, the viewpoint is miles away from the characters and just seems like they are talking and nothing interesting happens, but the next thing you know that 2 back and forth speech bubble reveal every possible viewpoint, it feels like the manga is saying 'Oh this happened, next.' Unlike the anime where it shows and emphasizes on the scene which makes you immersed. Maybe all mangas are like these I'm not sure, I'm not an anime or manga person this is just a personal opinion that I wanna see if someone else shares.
Like these S-class motherfuckers be flooding and destroying everything how is the city still standing. In fact, how is the world standing, one punch man over here can destroy a concrete floor now add that up to the percentages of S-classes at in this world and maybe dozen of them could basically sink a county or smth.
I give this a high rating mostly because you don't see any more omegaverses that dooesn't involve the uke losing their dignity in some way and using an asshole alpha to keep everything entertaining until the end. My standards are pretty low cuz of those lmao but fr this is still a good read. Didn't like the last couple though, glad that the omega had some sense to not be w that asshole but still maintained some peace between them. I hope he never takes him back and still keeps some self-respect in the far future. Also lowkey bro kinda giving me the ick, like that's some love you have tf
SOMEONE SPOIL ME ABOUT THE 'sung hyunjae arc' YALL CANT JUST LEAVE BITS AND PIECES AND NOT GIVE ME CONTEXY ON WHAY IT MEANS PLS AHHHHHH
do you really wanna know ?
well then, massive humongous SPOILERS, these will be revealed in like the 400s and 600s chapters be warned
there's is a transcendent called the crescent moon (if you remember his weapon- seeker chains's- contractor was crescent moon), and shj basically belongs to her via a contract where over the centuries, she keeps planting him into a new world, tries to make him into a transcendent (which he always refuses), takes him away before the world is destroyed, erases his memories, and then rinse and repeat hundreds of times by now. she calls him her "little moon" (waiting until we can meet sigma in the manhwa) and she's waiting for him to become the "full moon", because even if his memories disappear his powers keep stacking and he's basically transcendent level already (but compressed, think of it as a zip file idk), and he's almost full by now in this world. song taewon (the association civil servant guy) is also very important here, he was born as like an anti-sung hyunjae (he was even killed by the crescent moon pre-regression) but that's another massive spoiler and a very long explanation....... and as to why she's doing this ?
massive humongous SPOILERS for endgame like fr gets revealed down the 650s.
yoojin first thought she wanted to use sung hyunjae as a weapon to basically nuke the 5th source (if you remember, it's what creates the worlds and is trying to swallow them now). ah yes, she's an immoral child (like volleyball/newbie) so technically our goals and side match. but she basically wants to nuke the source And create a new "god" (yep, that's sung hyunjae), but his identity and ego will obviously not exist anymore so yoojin is like nope even though he's Very tempted and has a breakdown lol (it's like one person over the guaranteed safety of everyone else he loves and cares for)....
i am way too free this weekend goddamn i wrote a lot in this comment section
THANK YOU SO MUCH LIKE ACTUALLY SERIOUSLY THANK YOU. I'm somewhere around 270-280 and I didn't mind reading these spoilers because I genuinely feel like I'm going to finish this novel in like 5 yearsdue to pacing of the translation I'm currently reading and because I tried the mtl on one website and once I read actual translations I was like THATS WHAT HAPPENENED? So I've just decided to waitAGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
haha it can be a bit complicated to understand at first, especially if you only read the manhwa which glosses over a lot of things, or early novel. but feel free to ask questions and whatever you didn't understand, i'll do my best to explain. maybe context will have it make more sense ?
for example there's some basic information that manhwa readers may have missed, like how you need to swallow/consume a world to become a transcendent, so no matter which side they're on- filial piety addicts or the immoral children- none of them are all good or all bad. plus a lot of transcendents have their own agendas. it's all very complex, nuanced, and super interesting, i love the characterisation and world building in this novel.
I truly believe in second chances so I'm happy that the prince knew what he did was ass, but the pink haired girl.... Well..
