This story was such a nice change of pace from the other stories they try to differentiate themselves with traumatized characters, toxic relationships, supernatural settings, etc! It’s a simple story, with main characters that have great supportive friends, who grow up together with a loving, healthy relationship… Overall, this is just a pool of wholesomeness.
I hope all of them live a long and loving life <3

I get white people say the story is confusing. On an overall level you understand what is happening, but I do think the chapters aren’t very fluid, and the plot is choppy. It almost feels like some chapters are pages were missing.
Even though I wish the authors flushed out the story more, I did like the art, and the cute couple pairing.

I couldn’t understand why our ML acted the way he did and why it was so difficult for him to communicate but I think the internal hate and anxiety is a good representation of depression.
This is the first time where I felt like it was more realistically depicted. Depression doesn’t just go away all of a sudden. It usually stays with someone but they can learn to better manage it and heal over time — I’m glad they resolved to heal together
It’s so funny reading the comments. I feel like we’re all in a similar age group where we read this when we were like 13
I remeber watching the anime on youtube around that age X/
