I’m crying my eyes out because of the side story. Even though I would consider it somewhat bitter sweet, I like how the author put a more realistic twist to the ending. Even though they can’t show their relationship to the world, they’ve spent almost half their lives in love with each other, and that won’t ever change.
This was such a beautiful and complex story and I love how our characters aren’t your typical archetypes. Usually shounenai stories are too slow paced for me, but I think this story wasn’t like that at all. Both of them have been through so much Seeing the growth of both characters and how they worked hard to improve themselves but also for each other so that they could protect each other as adults felt realistic, and made the story all the more believable.
You know if there was shoujo yaoi, this story would be the best example of that. The characters don’t really make sense and they act like they’re 12 (because pretty much the readers are the same age). The plot and dialogue is quite cheesy, including the ending. At least the art was decent.
Wow, I love the complexity all of these characters had. It’s pretty impressive how our author managed to create such a plot packed story so concisely within 20 chapters.
I also think that our main couple couldn’t move on with each other even though they had many chances to do so, is proof that they never forgot about each other, and they are the endgame. They were away for a long time, and when there were finally reunited, they needed some time to mend the moments they lost with each other. They overcame these challenges and it was a very fulfilling ending.
Oh no… poor sooyoung is trapped and there’s no escape now… I bet this is when our top is gonna isolate sooyoung so that he will no one to rely on but our top and he’s eventually going to be the exact same thing as his father. Even tho that’s exactly what he didn’t want to turn into. I’m calling it.

I don’t care what other people say, this story is SO GOOOD! I love the drama, love the personality of the MC, and how each character has their own complex history with love vs gender.

Masterpiece masterpiece!! Standing ovation!!! The title suits this story so well I just finished reading it and our couple went through so many trials to finally be together. All these emotions are written and portrayed so viscerally. I love this author.
