came back to this after like 4 years, and gave it a reread, and omg. what a manga, i have so many feelings!
if we're being honest, hananoi was a little bit on the toxic side in the sense that he was a little too over possessive/protective, however, this manga touched on a heavy and serious topic without romanticising it or making it seem OK. while therapy was probably what hananoi needed the most, it was lovely to see him change alongside hotaru, to become better people as individuals and as a couple. they have some sweet moments, but it was also lovely to see proper communication and boundaries being set.

i didn't expect for hananoi and hotaru to break up, but it was probably for the best to ensure they could continue to build a healthy relationship, as even though hananoi was changing for the better, he still had some tendencies that could be...not so good in the future.
also love the side couple, wish we could see more of them.
we all knew this was coming, let's hope it passes with minimal drama

this manhua means absolutely everything to me - jiang chen and gu fei deserve the world <3 im loving how the story is progressing and the relationship between gu fei and jiang chen. 80+ chapters in, and this story only gets better and better.
yeah, ive been loving this manhwa and this author so much, but this recent chapter has let me down massively. i never expected it to go the direction it just has.
they communicate so well, but in a scenario like this, they (seo-an) didnt? i hate what seo-an did so so much, especially since wonwoo was literally assaulted minutes before. this would have been the perfect time to reaffirm some boundaries, create a safe space for wonwoo (because he needs it) and also talk about seo-an moving from south korea and their future together. but no.
well, that's a fucking shame. ik ive written a lot but i loved this story so much and to see it have a rape scene is just.....its disgusting. especially when it seems so out of character, idk. im just disappointed
i really REALLY want senju to be a girl, we don't have enough girls right now, plus we'd finally have one that has a whole fucking gang under her command, like cmon
i like how asta is helping noelle but not in a "noelle is a damsel in distress" type of way. she still wants to fight and she is not defeated in mindset (can we talk about her character growth omg). i think the whole "she needs to be saved my the male mc" trope is overused and very weird, especially when it essentially squashes any form of potential for a female character to grow or show any kind of development. plus, asta coming after getting help from magma (almost like a tag team) just seems so cool to me
