The worst thing is that if Yahwi did have a traumatic past or abusive ex or something that made him what he is right now, he is doing the exact thing to Jooin. This is Jooin’s first relationship like this, so he’s going to become disillusioned as to what love is and start resenting it (like Yahwi). Yahwi has become what he hates the most.
