For some reason this reminded me of thT one manga where the uploaded blurred scenes out, and put it behind a pay wall for money. U had to pay if u wanted to read it uncensored, but I'm not sure if they just kept the money or donated it to the author. I hope its the latter cause wtf. That said, ur right, bad translations just grind my gears somet......

Yeah, it sucks. But since I didn't take the time to at least try to translate it then I won't complain. At the very most all I ask for is that amateur translators put as much work into their projects as they can and ask for help. Side note tho, that one specific watermark is extremely annoying. I'm a bit torn on this. Like I get what you mean, bad translations can do more harm than good because a story can turn out like total crap and people won't want to buy the official work. I'm a translator and I know Google translate is totally unreliable for mangas that use non-normal levels of speech (e.g too polite/ too much slang/ dialects/ idiom......
