It's open to interpretation, I suppose, but I don't actually feel this was an allegory. The kid straight up killed little animals in his youth. The main character assumes the woman must know, since they were all childhood friends, and he doesn't understand why she tells that story about her dream as if she doesn't know.
The dream itself isn't her being scared, then being comforted. It's her being scared, then being lured into a false sense of security before being killed. She was describing letting her guard down only to have the one she trusted turn on her. The main character was confused and bothered because she seemed to understand that marrying him meant he would eventually kill her, but ultimately, she was her own kind of twisted in that she loved him and happily wedded him regardless. That's reflective of the last shot, with her throat slit in her wedding dress as she smiles. I don't think that part was literal, but rather an indication of what's to come.
If you want to go the non-horror route, it could also be that she understands love doesn't last and can lead to betrayal. That she's giving him her life at the cost of her own freedom. But why the emphasis on the guy's underlying psychotic behavior if it's just a metaphor? Regardless, whatever ending is satisfying to you, that's the one you should stick with. ^^

Is this seriously a manga about conversion therapy? Why does everyone like it so much? I don't wanna read it if it's about a gay character being pushed to date guys until she does, wtf. With all of the positive reviews, I can't imagine that's actually what this is about, but it's hard to say. Will someone clarify for me so I can decide if I want to read it or not? Cause if that IS what it's about, that's totally gross.

I'm disgusted as well. Plus, the mom is going on about how disgusting and unnatural it is, but I'm amazed at how she ignored her daughter's physical ailments, and how, if her daughter was found out, she could have been easily harassed or assaulted. You say that being gay is disgusting, then through your daughter into an all boy's division? I wonder which is more deplorable.

Seriously! I was hoping that wasn't actually what it was and that I was just missing something, but why the hell would people enjoy something so anti-gay? Whatever, just gonna skip this one. I can't believe this sort of thing could be written in this day and age, when people are being "converted" in much more disgusting ways but for the exact same principles.

Does anyone know why the other chapters aren't on here? I thought they were still being translated, but I found at least one of them after doing a bit of searching. I wonder why it isn't on here. It makes me wonder how many chapters are translated already. I'm eager to read the rest of this messed up anthology.

It looks like a few months later they finally posted the other chapter I'd found. Then there's this one that hasn't been uploaded yet: http://eskarina.tumblr.com/post/85054042632/wideop3n-i-will-be-with-you-forever-shoowa

If she ends up dumping him (even temporarily) so that he can be with that chick because she has some delusional idea that it's what's best for him, I will punch someone in the face. I really love the main character, and I really like this manga, but I'm really, really ready for Touma to tell some bitches off already. Everyone is talking shit about his girlfriend, and the least he could do is tell them to piss off. The readers know how much he likes her, so it'd be nice if he'd show it a little better. At least he's starting to do sweet things for her.
Man, I never thought I'd be this invested in a shoujo manga.
This manga made me so mad. What happened to that prostitute who'd been destroyed by what they were forcing him to do? I couldn't tell what was being implied. Was he beate or executed or what?
It grosses me out SO much that these two get a "happy ending" when none of the other people that prick has abused and victimized get the same, and he never pays the price for what he's done. I'm used to the yaoiland rape to love bullshit, but this really goes beyond that.
