The short version - yes she dies
The long version she isn’t actually the Princess - Perry mentions Theo was asked to marry the 7th Princess and the 4th was bedridden. The reason the Princess was magically all better in this timeline is her body was taken over by a witch. The same witch that put the blood curse on the family. She is obsessed with Theo as he is basically a reincarnation of the Duke she put the curse on because she loved him and he rejected her.
