He's a cult leader. Her knowing wasn't enough to stop him from using his charms on her. You've gotta be extremely convincing to do something like that. Make that person think you need them.
This is really good. I mean like reeeeallyyy good! A woman not overly powered, yet not weak at the same time. For me this is a really good depiction of how women from the past were being treated cruelly and unfairly. I love reading these kind of stories where you feel empowered and you feel like you can do anything.
