Pfft Love or Hate 'cause it has everything I despise in a romance: unlikeable characters, toxic dynamics, a love triangle, a dragging plot, and an MC whose twinky ass you just wanna stomp. God, it's like the I Love Yoo of yaoi but more dodgy. Which is a shame since I love the art style.
If we're talking about yaoi with ACTUAL plots, then: 1. MAJOR LOVE TRIANGLES. Just doesn't do it for me. I don't like sympathizing with the "other" guy, making me feel bad for him when he doesn't get chosen by the MC. I especially haaate it if the love triangle has that cliché trope of bad boy vs nice guy/the bestfriend. Grrr. But I read Devil's ......
As long as people treat it as a psychological thriller/horror and nothing more. The relationship/story isn't meant to romanticised at all. It definitely isn't supposed to be boy love.
