The three remaining people, the Emperor, Crown Prince, and Director, laugh about how the director is hated by his son. The Emperor comments his amusement on how Hajin and Yeoni can casually face each other, the Crown Prince looks nervous and warns his father, however the Emperor continues on to say that Esper Tae Hajin knew that Lee Yeoni was a test subject.
The Director mentions that it’s a shame Lee Yeoni ran away, because of a letter, the contents were obscure. The Director says he is not scared anymore because he has the ultimate power. The chapter ends with the Director wearing a dark smile as he wonders what his death will look like and requests the other two at the table to record his murder. Either by the hands of Lee Yeoni or Tae Hajin. Nevertheless, he has already reached the best research result he could have hoped for.
