So far no romance. But even if there was, I bet we won’t be disappointed. Why? Because in this manhwa, for once the females r not playing a male teenager’s fantasy. We have females who r fighters without wearing bikinis for once phew! No one has F cups spilling out of their cropped tops or thundering butt spilling out of their panties! Again phew! This is a survivalist take. Females play a generic role just as the males and the author so far is concentrating only on the coolness of the main guy.
The author has his gender radar correct for once—-so far!

I really hate the idea of romance in this manhwa even if it is just a sprinkle. Its like putting a dust in my eyes that it becomes irritating. Really hope that they will not include romance in this manhwa. It is possible since you all said that the romance in the LN doesn't really affect the main storyline right?

Considering how closely the webtoon is following the LN, I doubt they would leave it out. Also not sure why people are reacting so negatively to simply the presence of romance. The romance doesn't seem to be out of place or ruining the story so that is why I'm confused. Eg. 007 has romance in it... and people don't freak out that it's taking away from the action.

In the light novel, sadly, yes.
It's because, in the first place, i loved this webtoon because it didn't have romance in the first season and it is really full of action. I was REALLY hyped. And when i thought about the second season, i really had high expectations about it hoping that it will be more thrilling and exciting. But then, when i learned that there will be a romance, i was REALLY disappointed down to the knees. Why is it that most action manhwa have to include romance? I know that most of you think that the mc also deserves to be happy but does happiness is always based on romantic relationships? For me it is not. I'm done with action manhwas being ruined by romance. I'm really tired of romance in an action manhwas when you can't even find romance genre displayed. Sighhh. Okay that's all. I think what was kind of weird is that solo leveling is so good and then people were acting like the webtoon would suck now that it has romance in it. I don't think the presence of romance discounts a webtoon from being good and I didn't know it was a thing that action webtoons shouldn't have romance in them.
Right? I mean, there's only a few, no, probably only three to four chapters with romance and the rest of the romance is mostly in the side stories
