From my understanding ML for a while was trying to tell MC about the baby but MC made a comment about not liking them. So that's the general reason that we know why he left???
-ML left to hide the pregnancy and was gone for 3 years or something and was going to wait till his body went back to how it was before he traveled back in time to before the MC found out about the pregnancy and was gonna act like nothing happened. -Two other ML that were around the beefy general guy and the ML closest twin were frozen (I'm not sure i understand why?) -we just found out that this has been a continuous cycle where the MC dies and the ML goes back in time and tries to do it all over again. -we found out the statues MC saw of himself were old graves that were made into statues due to the graves getting bad. -this new priest like guy is the MCs grave watcher -MC and ML daughter from what it sounds like wanted to get rid of MC child custody to help out the ML because it seemed like ML was struggling.
