I want him to be put into the situation of prostitution towards Dan so he can realise what he asks is business and not pleasure. And maybe out of consequence, I want Dan to drown himself like in The Awakening by Chopin. Better yet, give Dan someone that supports him, not through price, but of empathy, and have him end up with them. Leave Jaekyung alone and miserable and let his Jinx be specific to Dan, so he can never get over it
If the author didn't changed their mind and still plans to give this series a not-so-happy ending unlike BJ where the characters end up together then there's definitely still hope for the kind of outcome you're wishing for.
