Well adoptive brother but yeah I was cringing at that. I mean like dude, you were mean to your own sister and then you expected her to be like, oh wow you're so cool now? It makes no sense. I was all like, if he was at least nice to her or something, then I would be like, okay you stuck with her thick and thin so yeah I can see you as the second male lead and I would root for you in a way because she is your like adoptive sister after your parents passed away but still, I was hoping nothing come of it and that there wasn't really love but more like a strong friendship between them but that didn't happen. Did you find out that the dude was never under that chick spell at all? I mean like, then what was the reason? Like dude this is like the worst plan
now that im done reading this i have some questions about athy's previous life or lifes. idk if i read it right but they hinted that she lived a few life before reincarnating into the novel? or maybe they were trying to hint that she was actually athy at first but she reincarnated into a korean girl, and in her life as the korean girl she picked up the book of her previous life and what happened beforehand before reincarnating back into athy's body in her next life?
please correct me if i'm wrong, i literally speedrun through the manhwa and i think i might've misread some of the plot
Lucas explained this close to the end. Because of her magic after she died in the first life, she travel through time and space, and went to another dimension, which she ended up in Korea. The book she read there was about her past life manifesting in that form, because of her magic as well as her desire something like that.

i think im at ch73 and i js wanna say that i love the extra notes the translators staff put at the bottom its so informative and the family tree of all the characters in the story really helped me alot to understand whats happening. if any of the staff see this, please know that i deeply appreciate it xoxo
