He doesn't. He clearly takes the lead, other than moments when he's flustered - and that's only because he's new to BDSM. Eg. That time when he pushed her down and asked her if she liked her. He does question her alot of times and only agrees to do things once he's had some convincing. I can them working well if he was an experienced sub. Don't expect dommes to take the initiative all the time in manga.

That's another thing, is that he is new to bdsm and she's his true first experience with it. I just think they should hold off on doing the extreme until they really emotionally and physically figured each other out.

That’s on him to make his desires known. Dommes aren’t mindreaders, and while I agree that the MC’s EQ can be a bit low, its not *entirely* on her to be a better practitioner of BDSM. Instead of just blaming women, teach men responsibility and initiative.

Why are you bringing gender into this? This has nothing to do with their genders and I'd say this about anyone despite their genders. All I know is, hopefully they can continue to grow into a healthy relationship if they choose to date and BDSM lifestyle if they choose to practice such with each other.
