Alright. Why does the Shuli resemble the Late Empress? Who knows, certainly not me. But what I do think as to the reason why Shuli was chosen as Johannes' bride is because she looks like the late empress. Johannes somehow knew that his brothers and sister are not to be trusted with his family after he's gone so he forced the Royal fam to intercede and help Shuli (bcs Johannes is a close friend of the emperor and he most likely knew something about the late empress). I mean, why else did he need to get a teen bride who is not at all related to their family, when he can just appoint one of his bros and/or sistah as the regent for Jeremy? If I'm right, kudos to him bcs he did the right thing.

Yeah I get the feeling that the empress did some political move that got her killed or imprisoned or some shit. And that the empress is related to Shuli and in order to quell rebellion from those wanting to use the Empress' relatives as spear heads for their cou, Johannes took the initiative by marrying Shuli and thus putting her and probably more importantly her relatives, on the Emperor's side

I do not like Jennette, no matter how "good" she is in the perspective of Athy. Coz (1) she's horribly naive for someone who grew up thinking that she's a hidden princess (bcs, cmon, POLITICS dearie) (2) she's self-centered, as can be seen by the strange focus on herself in her dialogues (3) if she really did want to help Athy then she'd have brought Athy up when she's with Claude, but she's too scared to do it (please, some concern can be understood seeing as she was invited to Athy's tea parties). I have a couple more but those are just the ones on top of my head right now.

Yeah not a big fan of her either, but I feel it's also how she's been brought up and conditioned (see how mr white treats her). She does seem pretty selfish, the wanting to keep athy for herself as well as what you brought up with Claude, being aware of athys situation yet still regularly meeting up with him. It seems like she just wants to keep these relationships to herself with her as the sole focus..doesnt seem lik a lot is going on in her head lol

who'd have thought? well, maybe Jennette should have! (1) a strange guy suddenly approaches her, a lone girl that obviously came from a wealthy fam, and points out to her what to give to her friend (2) there is magic in their world, if she had any presence of mind at all, given her position, she wouldn't accept anything from a stranger at all, much less someone who went out of their way to seem approachable.

... but the light novel was better in portraying how awesome Jin Woo coming in into that situation is. I feel like the gravity of the situation was lessened when I saw this chapter. Example, the beast transformer was in the middle of a literal hoard of ants by himself when Jin Woo came. The Tank guy was supposed to have been covered in blood, with a concusion when Jin Woo came. The camera director? Had his shoulder ripped apart before Jin Woo forced a potion in his throat. The mage guy was supposedly half? unconcious NOT fighting when Jin Woo came. But in this chapter, it almost feels like they weren't in that much danger at all. I mean kudos to the artist for a job well done with the group shots but if this is how it'll portray my 2nd fav arc in SL then I'm not expecting much for the school massacre arc OR the Japan Arc.

The thing foreshadowed in the anime by Garp will come true? The thing that only the relevant Marines should know? Something about being scarier than either the worst gen or the yonkos. A V-something? Will that mean that there would soon be a four-way battle (war) in or past Wano? Strawhat-Hearts Alliance vs Beasts vs Big Mom vs Marines? And how will that factor in Blackbeard? I just don't know anymore >.<

When do we get to roasting people, preferably alive, preferably the idiot younger sister first, and the father second?
But seriously, I laughed at the long ass synopsi--- title XD The author probably knows how generic these kinds of stories are so s/he probaly just went "ah fuck it, just write the synopsis as the title, save people wasting their damn time" :D

So... Has anyone noticed the flags on Perdel? Like, I like him but damn how Ria narrates her thoughts of him. Almost as if this is only a flashback and suddenly we will be hurled back to her "present" where Perdel has betrayed her father and/or they're on the run. It suddenly hit me, how fucking slow the progress is, more takes on their daily lives instead of the grand political aspect of things. And one thing I learned from reading novels is that when the author (a good one, that is) is downplaying an aspect of the series then it's about to go down.
I hope I'm not right
I've been reading this from almost the start and still enjoy this to this day, but hot damn is Ria selfish in these latest chapters. She's okay with her father dragging his army everywhere just to search for her; people could die because of her, livelihoods will have been lost bcs of her. bcs even though the manhwa glosses over it, the emperor IS dragging his army everywhere and that will always have a casualty bcs it's basically an invasion. Let's see her be an Empress when the folks inevitably still remember her as that one princess who was so selfish she ran away and let the emperor wreck havoc everywhere as he was looking for her. And, she's even dragging the white haired dude with her SELFISH desire of running away from problems she's had a hand in creating. Tsk tsk.
