Maki's appearance reminds me of when Toji "killed" Gojo.
since Toji died trying to kill Gojo the strongest sorcerer in the modern era, I wonder if it'll be different this time with Maki surviving and helping kill the strongest sorcerer in the heian era.
(also, Toji died and acted alone. Maki isn't alone and she has the others and awakened because the death of her sister and didn't spiral towards a lonely path unlike Toji.)
